What this course is about
Freedom — From the Inside Out is an 8-week live online journey into what it actually means to be free. Not free from difficulty. Not free from responsibility or relationship or the ordinary demands of a real life. But free in the deeper sense — free from the inner conditions that quietly govern how you think, feel, and choose, often without your awareness.
Most of us have been taught that freedom is something that happens when circumstances change. When life gets easier. When the pressure lifts. When things finally go the way we hoped.
This course gently, honestly challenges that.
Because what we discover — when we're willing to look — is that the freedom we're searching for in the world outside is almost always pointing to something inside. A belief we've never questioned. A thought we've never seen for what it is. An emotion we've been carrying for years without knowing how to set it down.
That is where this course begins. And from there, it moves outward — into your relationships, your choices, and the way you show up in the life you are actually living.
How it unfolds
The course moves in two clear phases, across eight weeks.
The first four weeks turn inward. We look honestly at the beliefs that shape what feels possible for us. We learn to see thoughts as events that arise and pass, rather than truths we are obligated to obey. We explore what it means to feel fully — without being consumed or governed by what we feel. This is quiet, careful, real work. And it changes things.
Week five is the pivot — the moment the course turns, and what has been found inside begins to move outward.
The second four weeks ask: what does this actually look like in your life? In the relationships where you feel least like yourself? In the choices you make from habit rather than genuine intention? In the daily moments where freedom is either practised or surrendered?
By the end of the course, freedom is no longer a distant idea. It is something you have begun to live — from the inside out.
What you'll explore
• What freedom actually means — and why most of us have been looking for it in the wrong place
• The conditioned beliefs and habitual thoughts that limit us without our awareness or consent
• How to see a thought as a thought — and find the space between stimulus and response
• Emotional freedom — feeling fully, without being run by what you feel
• What freedom looks like in your closest relationships, where patterns are most visible
• How to bring genuine, conscious choice to the life you are actually living
What to expect
Each session runs for approximately 90 minutes on Zoom. Sessions are discussion-based — you are not a passive listener here. Real conversation, real questions, and real life are the material we work with.
Every week includes a story or reflection, a teaching, and a simple homework practice — not a task to perform but a gentle invitation to notice something in your own life between sessions.
The group is kept intentionally small so that every voice has room.
Who this is for
This course is for people who sense there is more available to them than their current life is reflecting. Who feel, underneath the busyness and the obligations, a quiet longing for something more spacious, more honest, more genuinely theirs.
You don't need any prior experience with this kind of work. You don't need to use any particular language or come from any particular background. You just need to be willing to look honestly — and to trust that what you find will be worth finding.
If you have done our previous course Coming Home to Yourself, this takes the journey further. If you are coming to this work for the first time, you are very welcome here.
Your facilitators
Yvonne and Stephanie bring warmth, genuine experience, and a shared commitment to facilitating real inner change — not just interesting ideas. They share the course equally, and their partnership creates a space that is both safe enough to be honest and deep enough to matter.
